We have discovered a new status effect in Medal of Battle: Modern Duty — Operation: Runner! Merchandise is one of many post-mortem status effects, which main affects the difficulty and results of your allies’ attempts to recover your body. We’ve never seen a post-mortem effect that makes it easier or more worthwhile to recover players’ bodies, and maybe we never will! Mostly I think it is more fun if the bodies get left out in the field to be ignored or played with by whoever finds them, or disposed of secretly so their fates are never known. So far only one body has been successfully recovered, and it didn’t seem to get better treatment than the forgotten bodies…

More new character test art, two upcoming operators named Bey Twicé and Sleet Bae. The inspiration for Twicé is hopefully obvious, Sleet Bae is based on a lesser known artist who wears some very inspirational outfits in her videos. Endgame Bosses will get a no clothes version (which doesn’t reveal all that much new tbh) as well as some other character previews!
