Today is the first two pages of the new Medal of Battle: Modern Duty comic, called Leadership! It’s going to tell you more about the world of MOB:MD, introduce some new characters, and slaughter some characters you already know!

I already introduced my new character CXC (pronounced sort of like “sexy”), here is some additional art I made because sometimes I get a little obsessed! So to start, the reason I started working on her at all is that I ran across these two pictures:

I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, but I liked seeing them together, so I had to make my own version!

And since I was making a new model anyway, I might as well turn her into an MOB:MD character. So here’s a better version of the first pic!

Anyway, we are continuing the January HVT vote even though it is already February. We have chosen Zetta and Spud McRudd as our two victims, and now we are deciding on the method! Somewhat different poll this month, we are picking a type of situation for them to die in, rather than specific methods like shooting or stabbing. Here are the options:

• Captured and executed
• Taken out silently on guard
• Ambushed during patrol
• Losing a pitched firefight
• Secretly disposed of after capture
• Snuck up on while having a tryst
• Failed ransom
• Mutual betrayal
